Structure, Processes and People

We use the term “wealth management” to encompass the four core elements of family financial management; asset management, liability management, life objectives and net worth objectives.  We provide financial management structure and processes then work cooperatively with our client’s team of independent professionals to optimize financial decision making in an increasingly interconnected and uncertain global economy.

The mission of Samrah Advisory Services is to help our clients better manage their assets, liabilities, life objectives and net worth objectives.

Family financial management is best achieved using independent objective advisors from the very best institutions whose mission is to work cooperatively on your life and net worth life cycle (NWLC) objectives.  A critical building block to long-term financial success is hiring independent accountants, attorneys and asset managers who operate in an objective environment that establishes a system of checks and balance to protect the family’s financial interests. An independent team of professionals will minimize potential conflicts and should allow family members to focus more time and energy on life goals and net worth objectives. The wealth manager is best positioned to coordinate between functional specialist (accountant, attorney and asset managers) rather than a single family member which is often the case.

We are responsible for 1) keeping you well-informed about your financial situation, 2) knowledgeable about the variables that can be managed, those that cannot and 3) provide the wisdom to discern the difference using our proprietary process-driven business model. Effective financial decision-making requires sophisticated systems and sound judgment which is learned slowly over-time through an iterative process of data collection, measurement, analysis and adjustment. We continuously develop and improve our intellectual database with each decision and use that knowledge to build better financial (NWLC) models. Achieving our goal of, “Well-informed and Knowledgeable Clients” requires both sophisticated quantitative systems and effective communication.

Our investment management (RIA) practice is very effective at navigating the financial markets, providing appropriate and efficient exposure to the global investment opportunity set. We will report both portfolio performance and corresponding risk statistics with customized monthly or quarterly output at a reasonable predetermined management fee.

We do the data interface and computer programming work at the start of each relationship then provide recurring financial modeling to ensure a financial decision making process that is objective, analytically rigorous and flexible enough to evolve with net worth size and inherent complexity.

We continuously seek to improve our processes and systems while striving to achieve the highest standards of professional and academic excellence.
